We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2024, at the age of 95, Rachel Smith of Starkville, Mississippi, born in Guntown, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Lee Smith. She is survived by: her children, Carol Lee Monroe (Bill), Andrew Thomas Smith (Tami), Timothy James Smith (Rhonda) and Ted Watson Smith; her grandchildren, Amy, Jason Monroe, Renee Wade (Tyler), David Lee Smith (Marisa Bruner) and Brian Smith; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Seth O'hora and Risa Lee Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Old Cumberland Cemetery Fund, c/o Sue Cooper, 918 Old Cumberland Rd., Maben, Mississippi 39750, in memory of Rachel Smith's enduring legacy of compassion and service.
