She is survived by: her children, Charles Mark Banes and Sarah Marie Banes of Starkville, MS; her brother Trey Merritt of Little Rock, AR; her close friend Mark Andrews; and also William Andrews of Starkville, MS.. She is also survived by mother to her two children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Oktibbeha County Humane Society in honor of Michelle.
