He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph McCarthy, Jr. and Carol Williams-McCarthy-Burgess; his siblings, Colleen McCarthy-Roberts, Timothy McCarthy and Aileen McCarthy; his grandmother Mary Williams; and his father-in-law Kelton Lee Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Rene Anderson-McCarthy; his child Dana McCarthy (Angel); his grandson Michael Clayton McCarthy; his brothers, Sean McCarthy and Kevin McCarthy (Amy); and his mother-in-law Myrtle Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Starkville.
