She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Darius Halbert of Starkville, MS; her daughter-in-law Ceon Smith of Columbus, MS; her siblings, Tommy Halbert of Columbus, MS, Emma Halbert of Columbus, MS, Bernice Halbert of Crawford, MS and Martha Halbert of Crawford, MS; her great-uncle James Selvie (Shirley) of Gary, IN; her great-aunt Lelia Stallings (Williams); her aunts, Lula Selvie of Kankakee, IL and Della Selvie of Indiana, IL; and her godchildren, Anthony Williams (Cierra) of Kankakee, IL, Geral Halbert of Kankakee, IL, Alcurtis Smith (Diana) of Kankakee, IL, Jimmy Smith (Karen) of Chicago, IL, Vera Smith of California, Dalexia Sheddan of Jacksonville, FL and Oriana Pooh Staples of Indianapolis, IN. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; one great grandchild.
