With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Davis Sr. (Starkville, Mississippi), who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Marrico Sherman, Timothy Sherman, Lakedra Greene (Shymar Greene), Meria Henderson, Marvin Davis Jr., Cayla Davis and Jessica Davis; his siblings, Marilynn Williams (Tracy Orr), Melvin Davis (Nell Davis), Patricia Davis, Pamela O'Bryant, Matilda Davis, Kimberly Baskin (Andy Baskin), Latasha Addison, Shelia Doss, Ralphine Reece, Fred Rice and Eric Robinson; and his aunts and uncles, Minnie Lindsey, John Davis, Betty Young, James Davis and Lucille Harven. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at 121 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr W, Starkville, MS 39759.
