She was predeceased by: her mothers, Nora Horsley and Emily Carter Horsley; her husband Oscar Brown; her siblings, Ada Turnipseed, Cereal Ellis, Ella Dell Hill, Mary Jones, Nola Elliott, Memphis Horsley, Isaac Horsley, William Horsley and Earl Horsley; and her children, Jessie Lue Jean Brown, Tommy James Brown and Jesse James Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Rosie Marie of Orlando, FL, Alice of Pensacola, Susie of Orlando, Terri of Tupelo, MS, Emma Ann, Kathy, Myra of Starkville, MS and Dedric (Frank) of Columbus, MS; and her grandchildren, Willie A. Townsel, Calvin Brown, Melvin Tucker, Dante Wright and Catina Smith. She is also survived by Twenty-four Grandchildren, Twenty-nine Great-Grandchildren, and twenty-six Great-Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
