She was predeceased by: her parents, W. L. Kendrick and Bobbie Wofford Kendrick; her former husband Johnny Howard Dewberry; and her grandson Reggie Williams. She is survived by: her husband Allen H. Self (Bo) of Starkville, MS; her children, Gwenn Dewberry (Susan) of Baton Rouge, LA, Ronnie Dewberry (Kathy) of Steens, MS, Ken Dewberry (Sandra) of Brandon, MS, George Self of Pensacola, FL, Kenneth Self of Pensacola, FL and Teresa Karen Turnipseed (Keith) of Starkville, MS; and her siblings, Pattie Kendrick Hartness of Starkville, MS, Gerald Kendrick of Starkville, MS and Rex Kendrick of Starkville, MS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
