She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Muldrew and Eddie Mae Baxter Ray; her husband John Morris McIlvany; and her siblings, Louise Denney, Charlene Murphy, Virgie Wilson, Elbert Ray, Sr. and Hubert Ray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah and Sara Johnette McIlvany of Columbus, MS; and her brother George Ray (Barbara) of Mathiston, MS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
