He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Martin Moorehead. He is survived by: his sister Mildred Lewis of Brandon, MS; his children, Lynn Moorehead Rutledge (Philip) of Madison, MS, Jim B. Moorehead (Lynn) of Starkville, MS and Jack M. Moorehead (Kim) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his grandchildren, Mary Martin Guerieri, Mackenzie Moorehead (Mary), Josie Moorehead House (Bob), Ben Moorehead and Maris Moorehead Risinger (Brody); and his great grandchildren, Nora Lynn, Mary Grace Guerieri, Monroe, Jennings Moorehead and James House.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (106 E Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Building Fund of First Baptist Church of Starkville.
