He is survived by: his wife Cate Van Halsema; his pet Roman; his parents, Anita Hurdle and Jack Hurdle; his mother-in-law Helen Sterk; and his siblings, Joel (Kitty), Heather (Dylan), Holly (Alex), Hunter (Morgan) and Gerard (Rita).
