Jane Loretta Burke Ammerman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Loretta Burke Ammerman of Starkville, Mississippi, born in Dugger, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Burke and Annie Burke; her husband Gale R. Ammerman; her sisters, Nancy Harvey and Vera Faidherbe of Indiana; her son John T. Ammerman of Boone, N. C.; and her granddaughter Jane Bell of Starkville.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Winston of Starkville, Joseph P. Ammerman of Starkville, Mark A. Ammerman of Ethel, MS and Christopher J. Ammerman of Matthews, AL.; her sister Mary Frye of Indiana; her grandsons, Jim Hunniford, Rick Ammerman, Jason Ammerman, Cory Ammerman, Paul Ammerman, Joshua Ammerman, Austin Bize, Dylan Ammerman and John Ford Ammerman; and her great grandchild Will Hunniford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
