He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Alexander Kimbrough Jr. (Poppy) and Kathryn Peer Kimbrough; his grandfathers, Emmett Alexander Kimbrough Sr. "Pop K" (Nan Augusta Trusdel) and Earl Edwin Peer; his mother-in-law Jean S. Miller; and his brother-in-law George F. Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Miller Kimbrough; his daughters, Rebecca Kimbrough and Amanda Adams; his grandchildren, Lana Caitlin Adams (Amanda) and Jayden Kimbrough (Rebecca); and his sister-in-law Michele H. Miller (George).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Alex's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Pinelake Church Building Fund.
