She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Smith and Van Rose Abernethy Smith; her brother Ernest "Ernie" Smith; and her significant other Billy. She is survived by: her son William Henry Harris, III (Hank); her daughter-in-law Amy Rhodes Harris of Starkville; her grandchildren, William Henry Harris, IV of Houston, Brennan Lee Harris of Starkville and Jessica Weaver Henley (Deangelo) of Starkville; her great grandchildren, Makel, Jashaun and Ethan Henley; her siblings, Cindy Smith Wall (Jim) of Atlanta and Sam Smith (Julie) of Fort Payne, Ala.; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Lummus (Robert) of West Point, Marie Harris Lambeth of Gulfport, Sue Smith of Tupelo and Edgar Harris of West Point.
