With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carroll Jones (Starkville, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bilbo Jones and Jewel Virginia Gray Jones; and his siblings, Lou Rogers and Donald Jones. He is survived by: his children, Janice Jones Howard (Paul) of Joshua, Karen Jones of Burleson and James "Jim" Jones (Laura) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Austin Howard (Priscilla) of Burleson, Candace Williams of Joshua, Ashlyn Johnson (Matt) of Burleson, Jamie Wood (Chad) of Nacogdoches, Benjamin Howard (Monique) of Joshua, Justin Jones (Kelsey) of Ackerman and Morgan Porter (Carson) of New Braunfels; his sisters, Katie Lou O'Brian and Margie Blankenship of Warm Springs; and his sister-in-law Christine Jones (Virginia) of Pulaski. He is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Garden Park (9036 Oktoc Rd, Starkville, MS 39759).
