She is survived by: her children, Jackie Smith (Stacie) of Odessa, TX, Terrance Smith of Crawford, MS, Evelyn Smith of Crawford, MS, Michelle Smith of Crawford, MS, Andra Smith of Crawford, MS and Lasandra Smith-Poe (J. T.) of Starkville, MS; her brothers, John Smith, Sr. (Essie) of Kankakee, IL and Peter Smith, III (Shirely) of Mason, TN; and her daughters, Sherry Smith, Sheila Gray of Crawford, MS and Mary Burnett of Brooksville, MS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland M. B. Church (18 Fairport Rd, Crawford, MS 39743).
