He is survived by: his children, Amber Sharee Gandy of Compton, CA and Malachi Joel Gandy of Starkville, MS; and his siblings, James Gandy Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Betty Jean McDowell of Starkville, MS, Ledora Scott (William) of Starkville, MS, Faye Gillespie (Elvis) of Starkville, MS and Margaret Gandy-Walker of Starkville, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
