We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Anna Ray Tubb Gassaway of Starkville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Lavell Tubb and Verlie Cordelia Tubb; her husband James David; and her brothers, Lester (Mary Ruth), Doug (Marie), Lamar and Flynt (Martha).
She is survived by: her brother Grayden Tubb, MD (Mavis); her daughters, Marian Wright of Ridgeland, MS, Carol Gassaway of Johnson City, TN and Julie Baca; her grandchildren, Thea Henslee (Cole), Rachel Suddath (Josh), Ethan Baca (Ashley) and Kristina Baca; and her great grandchildren, Kate Furby, Samantha Furby, Mary Beth Furby, Olivia Suddath and Callie Suddath. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
