He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dale Waldrop of Newton, MS.; his children, James Gardner Strickland and Susan Peden (Jess); his grandchildren, Lorelei Johnson and Carys Peden; his nieces, Shawn Guider and Starwyn Stark; his nephew Clarence Guider, Jr.; and his children, P. O. Box and Clinton.
