He is survived by: his children, Weldon Hughes Jr., Deborah Luebbert (Ron), Terrell Hughes (Janice) and Aaron Hughes; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Laster (Tyler), Hannah Hughes, Chrissy Campbell (Matt), Tommy Hager (Becky) of Haley Luebbert, TJ, Lindsey Guidera (Matt), Spencer Hughes (Tori), Little Aaron Hughes (Toni) and Amy Phillips (John); and his sister Shirley Inman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carter Memorial Chapel at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (290 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671). A reception was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carriage Hills Baptist Church (8352 Farmington Dr W, Southaven, MS 38671).
