We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, Ruthie T. Manning of Southaven, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ruthie's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Ruthie's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Lee and Louise Nance Tinkle; her son Leslie Manning; and her siblings, Nancy Greer and Jerry Tinkle Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Whitley Lamar Manning of Southaven, MS; her children, Donna Cousino (Jeff) of Southaven, MS and Chris Manning of Southaven, MS.; and her sister Elizabeth Wallis of Hernando, MS.. She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hernando Funeral Home (2285 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of traditional flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the 1st Baptist Church of Nesbit Building Fund and the Parkinson's Foundation.
