It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Griffin Moore (Southaven, Mississippi), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Wayne Moore; her children, Renee Mueller (Dennis), Derek Moore (Debbie), Rhonda Harris (Tim), Dawn Simpson (Mike) and Alison Sanders (Kevin); her grandchildren, Kristen Hively (Chase), Erin Smith (Alex), Stephanie Blake (Josh), Callie Bane (Jason), Christianne Curbow (Josh), April Ellis (Colton), Timothy Harris, Caleb Harris (Minami), Jordan Simpson (Bret), Savannah Barnes (Robert), Jenna Claire Sanders and Hallie Sanders; her brother David Griffin (Lib); her aunt Joyce Lewis (Gerald); her parents, William "Pude" Griffin and Maylene Griffin; her aunts, Faye Black and Ruth Meyer; and her grandson Andrew Joseph Harris.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Desoto Hills Baptist Church (4680 Getwell Rd, Southaven, MS 38672). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 4:45 PM at the Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (290 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671).
