She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Winn, Audrey Grooms, Larry Douglas (Becky), Danny Douglas (Jolene), Nathan Douglas, Joe Petty and Shawn Petty; her husband Johnny Shackelford; and her brothers, Darrell Douglas and Hank Petty. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar the Carter Memorial Chapel at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Calendar Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (290 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671).
