As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Martha Jane may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Staten and Sybil Elizabeth King Staten. She is survived by: her brother James Lee Staten (Annie Jones Staten); her children, Cheryl Lynn Strawn (Dudley) and David Brian George (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jamison, Bianca and Reina; and also, Joe Kenneth George and Charles William George. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held by her immediate family and per her wishes the family requests memorials be directed to the Seniors Ministry Business Fund at Gracewood Baptist Church, 8551 Getwell Road, Southaven MS 38672.
