With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin D. Hill of Southaven, Mississippi, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Franklin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Franklin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hill and Ida Mae Hill. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie; and his children, Angie, Brian (Sheryl) and Richard (Billie-Jo).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ (1700 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
