She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Wilson Massey; her parents, John Wilson Knight and Bertie Roney of Virginia; and her siblings, Glen Wilson Knight and Olean Knight Perault.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Massey (Pam) and Jayne Bond (Danny); her grandchildren, Dr. Tessa Flowers (Austin) and Christopher Sims (Morgan); and her great grandchildren, Waverly Sky Flowers, Rhyker Austin Flowers, Greenly Massey Flowers and Amelia Jayne Sims.
