He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mary; and his siblings, Mable Lee, Inez Lee, Bernice Lee, Willie Lee, Ralph, Paul and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wives, Jackie Ann Watkins and Jackie Russell; his children, Jo Ann Russell Williams (Roger Williams) of Galloway, Ronald Eugene Russell (Monica Russell) of Madison, MS and William Richard Russell (Maria Russell) of Thomasville, AL; his grandchildren, Audra, Avery, Adele, Christopher (Myranda), William (Gladis), Matthew, Andrew and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Brandon of Brittney, Jaz and Jessie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
