With solemn reverence, we commemorate Hazel H. Knight of Soso, Mississippi, whose life came to an end on February 22, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Arnold Knight; her son Rev. Randall A. Knight; her parents, Andrew'Tim'Holifield, Sr. Holifield and Maudie Parker Holifield; her siblings, Andrew Tim'Buddy'Holifield, Jr., L. Hilman Holifield, Jeweline Windham and Myrtle Lee Dykes; and her grandsons, William Overstreet and Chris Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Dennis Knight (Jean) of Wiggins, MS and Sheila Overstreet (Wayne); her grandchildren, Charles Overstreet, Dianna Williams (Charles), Angela Givens (Stephen), Denise DeVaughn (George), Regina Knight and Dana Knight; and her brother Harold Holifield (Vickie). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Berean Baptist Church (3310 MS-29, Soso, MS 39480). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
