It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Fredric Smith (Soso, Mississippi), who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Smith and Eunie Mae Smith (Stevens); and his siblings, David Smith, Emmett Smith, Alene Cherry (Smith), Willie and Ethel Mae Harrison (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Anita Anne Smith (Fields); his sister Olean Smith; his children, Steve Smith (Charlotte), Kevin Smith (Deanna), Vonda Aaron (David), Dena Bass, Jason Nickless and Carrie Stringer; and his grandchildren, Warren Zink, Stephanie Stewart (Cody), Tiffany Leitaker (Rusty), Tyler Smith, Coby Herrin (Jacklynn), Brittany Smith, Maryann Mobley (John), Danielle Evans, Haley Mclendon, Summer Smith, Amiah Lewis and Joshua Nickless. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
