We bid farewell to Dorothy Carol Byrd Yarbrough of Soso, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025 at the age of 71. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. C. Byrd and Marie Giles Byrd; and her brother Billy Byrd. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Yarbrough (Hayley) and David Yarbrough (Ginger); her grandchildren, Olivia Yarbrough, Dax Yarbrough, Eli Walters and Audrey Yarbrough; her brothers, Charlie Byrd (Suzanne) and Dale Byrd; her sister-in-law Rhonda Byrd; and her friend Gwen Bower.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Union Line Cemetery.
