She was predeceased by: her father Richard Kirkland; her brother Billy Kirkland; and her grandson Caeden Carr. She is survived by: her husband Randy Carr of Sontag, Mississippi; her mother Mattie Sue Bannister; her children, Joe Carr, Jr. (Shannan) of Sontag and Heather Russell (Chris) of Sontag; and her sisters, Kathy Fort and Cindy Reed (Danny). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
