He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentiss Ivy and Ruth White Ivy; his wife Mary Cross Ivy; his sons, Lance Ivy and Philip Ivy; his son-in-law Joey Waldrop; his brother-in-law Earnest Cross; his siblings, Hugh Ivy, Prentiss Ivy Jr., Wayne Ivy, Donald Ivy, Donivan Ivy, Nola Alice Rutledge, Marie Terry and Kathleen Keyes; and his great grandchild Trey Jiles.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Brooks (Billy); his sister Sarah Beeson (Joe Pat); his grandchildren, Lance Waldrop, Laura D'Mello (Nate), Shanan Smith, Nathan Ivy and Fallon Brooks; his great grandchildren, Preston Smith, Abigail Smith, Alexis Smith, Seth D'Mello, Logan D'Mello and Lila Rasberry; his sister-in-law Dana Cross; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Ivy.
