He is survived by: his wife Lavern Brown Niehaus; his children, Richard Stewart of Foxworth, MS, Tommy Channell of Sontag, MS, Tony Channell of Sontag, MS, Thad Channell of Sontag, MS, Desiree Fontenelle of Springfield, LA, Ann McGraw of Monticello, MS and Sandra Prevost of Loranger, LA; and his brothers, Paul Niehaus of Slidell, LA and Butch Niehaus of Ponchatoula, LA.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
