She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Bird and Ida Conn Bird; her husband Buddy Douglas; and her son Thurman Douglas. She is survived by: her son Ian Douglas (Kim) of Sontag, MS; her grandsons, Kris Douglas (Michelle) of Brookhaven, MS, Troy Douglas (Ashley) of Brookhaven and Andi Douglas (Erin) of Bogue Chitto, MS; her stepgrandchildren, Spencer Conley (Ashley), Chris Conley (Bailey) of Phoenix, AZ and Amanda Burrage (Joe) of Asheville, NC; her brother Paul Bird (Margie) of Meridian, MS; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Wansley Bird of Laurel, MS, Sarah Douglas of Sontag and Anna Crane of Brookhaven, MS.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
