He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac Madison Sr. and Frances Wright Johnson; his son Joseph Florence; and his brother Nelson Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua "Opie" Johnson (Sawyer) and Jacob Johnson (Natalie); his siblings, Chuck Johnson (Wanda), Kenneth Johnson (Brooke), Francine "Peanut" Hodges (Bowen), Tammy Smith (Larry), Kathy Bowman (Bull), Sondra Smith (Brennon) and Angela Reynolds (Hambone); and his grandchildren, Tara, Kynslee, Avaree, Karter, Layton and Truett.
