We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 69, James Minton Sr. of Sontag, Mississippi, born in Corpus Christi, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Foster Minton and Ernestine Smith Minton; his brothers, Thomas Minton and Michael Minton (Lora Minton); and his grandson Jace Minton.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Ragas (Lance), Jan Buras (CJ) and James Minton Jr. (Windy); his grandchildren, Lance III, Jacob, Carson, Landon, Caitlynn, Chauvin, Camdin and Jordan; his great grandchild Caylee Elizabeth; and his sisters, Janelle Schultz and Patty Minton. He is also survived by step children and grandchildren.
