He was predeceased by: his wife Mercedes Authement Brunet; his parents, Odelia Naquin Brunet and Joseph Palindire Brunet; and his siblings, Norman, Raymond Brunet, Barbara Brunet and Diana Dupre.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Brunet (Roxanne), Cindy Picou (Gary), Penny Brunet (Timothy Normand), Lorie Pellegrin (Bernie) and Lisa Bergeron (Patrick); and his adoptive children, Crystal Brunet, Timothy Brunet and Kristie Brunet. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
