He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ashley of Sontag, MS; his children, Linda Easley (Doug) of Brookhaven, MS, Gwen Rayborn (Kelvin) of Jayess, MS and Dean Davis of Wesson, MS; and his siblings, Loyd Ashley (Denise), Floyd Ashley, Jerry Ashley, Tommy Ashley, Nancy Patrick and Jenny Yates (Jere). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
