He was predeceased by: his parent Howell Dwain; and his son Lee Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Nellie Fay Carter of Smithville; his brothers, Brad Thompson (Twyla) of Smithville and Chad Thompson (Dawn) of Amory; his nephew Kendall Thompson; his niece Emily Thompson; and his close friend Wesley Hopkins (Joan). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
