He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Leon Adams Sr. and Lillian Jewel Weathersby Adams; and his sisters, Jewel, Fenn, Addie Leigh Fortenberry and Dean Cutrer.
He is survived by: his daughter Marie Angelina Adams; his siblings, Robert Dan Adams, James Glen Adams, Carolyn Jean Johnson, Marilyn Joy Roy and Glenda Jane Parker; his grandchildren, Gloria Christina Adams, Andrew Donavan Hanley, Bryan Chancelor Hanley and Celia Michelle Hanley; and his great grandchild Sylvia Marie Blackwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
