She was predeceased by: her parents, Gettie James Hoffpauir and Mary Rose Comeaux Hoffpauir; her husband Quincy Etheridge, Jr.; and her son Bruce Etheridge. She is survived by: her children, Laura Artmann (James), Nell Summers (Joe), Janice Wicker (Keith), James Etheridge (Pat) and Ray Etheridge; her grandchildren, Jim Etheridge, Cory Wicker of Matthew Summers, J. T, Aaron Wicker, Leslie Powell, Andrea Powell and Brian Kiefer; and her daughter-in-law Anna Etheridge. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
