She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Smith and Hattie Chandler Smith; her husband Sherrell Lofton; her daughters, Rebecca Lofton Wilson and Sandra Lofton; her grandson Jasper Steele; her son-in-law Kenneth Wayne Wilson; and her siblings, Mildred Nettles, Henderson Smith and Wylie Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Steele (Darrell) of Smithdale, MS; her siblings, Mamie Case, Frank Smith (Joann, Mary Watts) and Elaine Smith (Edwin); her grandchildren, Jeff Wilson, Chris Wilson, Brad Purser (Tracy, Stacy Smith), John Walter "Jack" Joffrion (Brandy) and Monica Steele; her great grandchildren, Mason Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Jared Wilson, Emily Walker (Austin, Casey Lofton), Allie Lofton, Madison Drew Nichols, Emaleigh Privatte, John Michael Joffrion, Braylei Steele and Macey Steele; and her great great grandchildren, Addie Lofton, Kenny Wilson, Johnny Wilson, June Wilson and Cahnon Blanc. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
