She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilton Bass and Myrtis Laird Bass; her husband Clem Steele; her grandchildren, Nathan Steele, Monica and Nicole Hart; and her great grandchildren, Ava and Claire Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Steele (Stephanie) of Sumrall, MS, David Steele (Dianne) of Smithdale and Wanda Hart (Daniel) of Summit; her grandchildren, Anthony Steele (Carman), Lori McMullen (Scott), Valerie Freeman and Michael Hart (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Ally Jordan (Jacob), Kenadi Conerly, Carson McMullen, Sera Freeman, Carleigh McMullen, Paisley Freeman, Andrew Hart and Savage Broussard; and her siblings, Aubrey Bass and Joyce Johnston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
