He was predeceased by: his parents, Timmie Whittington and Kathryn Freeman Whittington; his sister Patsy Brown; and his sister-in-law Kathy Smith Whittington. He is survived by: his daughter Leah Nicole Whittington (Aaron Melton) of Cleveland, OH; his grandchildren, Jordan Whittington and Khalista Melton of Cleveland, OH; his brothers, Jimmie Whittington of Smithdale, MS and Gerald Whittington (Carole) of Hollandale, MS; his close friend Dorian Davis (Wren) of Smithdale, MS; and also, Braelynn and Kylee.
