He was predeceased by: his former wife Myra Chapman; and his parents, John Carter Chapman and Luthera McElveen Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ella Chapman; his son John Eugene Chapman (Victoria) of Osyka, MS; and his sister Kate Harper (Joe) of Florence, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
