He is survived by: his wife Frances Thornton Freeman of Smithdale, MS; his daughters, Donna Shute (Glen), Colleen Simmons (Scott "Opie"), Rachel Freeman of Bridge City, TX and Celina Thornton (Scott); and his siblings, Aubrey Freeman (Elizabeth), Allen Freeman, Linda Hiroms (Larry), Barbara Alford (Sam) and Frances Freeman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
