He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Forrest Edwards and Lorraine Burris Edwards; his brother Douglas Edwards; his parents-in-law, John and Gene Fenn; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Adams, Donna Edwards and Debbie W. Fenn; and his great-nephew Conner Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Fenn Edwards of Smithdale; his children, Sally Toler (Chris) of Liberty, Allyson Edwards of Pearl and Kevin Edwards of Smithdale; his grandchildren, Logan, Laura, Lizzy Toler, Braden, Stance and Kylee Edwards; and his sister Mary Margaret Adams.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
