She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Burkey and Lucille Montgomery Burkey; her former husband Carey Smith; her siblings, Raymond Burkey, Harold Burkey and Iris Spaulding; and her grandson Drew River Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Joe V. Jordan of Smithdale, MS; her sons, Carey Dale Smith (Renae), Kevin Smith (Alise) and Craig Smith (Toni); her stepson Jorge Salazar (Maritza); her brothers, Ben Burkey (Pat) and Darry Burkey of Atascadero, CA; and her grandchildren, Todd Smith, Jason Pittman, Dillon Osbourne (Nichole), Jennifer Smith, Tanner Smith (Casey), Jake Smith (Makayla), Marcus Groves (Jessica), Michael Groves (Katy), Zack Graham (Ashley), Tripp Graham (Ashley) and Chase Graham (Madison). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
