She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie William and Lessie Caraway Thornton; her husband Charles Raiford Young, Jr.; and her son Charles Raiford Young, III. She is survived by: her children, Myrtle Irene Young Johnston of Brookhaven, MS and James Leroy Young of Gulfport, MS. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
