He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Grady McCool and Noite Estelle White McCool; his wife Bonnie Huggins McCool; his siblings, Eugene McCool, Nellie Ruth Miller, Opal Gay McCool, Annie Grace McCool and Ruby McCool; his granddaughter Elizabeth Denton; his stepson Tony Denton; his stepdaughter-in-law Tammie Burden Denton; and his great grandchild Noah Bland.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kim Littleton of Greenwood, MS, Gay Boshers of Sidon, MS and James Denton of Greenwood, MS; his siblings, Rayford McCool of Pickens, AL, Billy McCool of Pickens, AL and Jewel Gay McCool of Pickens, AL; his grandchildren, Shelby Littleton, Amanda Bland and Jamie Denton; and his great grandchildren, Addie Bland and Skylar Bland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
