She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Bauer; her parents, Jeff W. Thomas and Jackie Vashti Maxey Thomas; and her brother Earl "Dick" Thomas of Noxubee County, MS. She is survived by: her children, Karen Elizabeth Bauer Burke of Tupelo, MS and Charles David Bauer of Tupelo, MS; her granddaughter Whitney Allysha Bauer Boggs (Blake) of Katy, TX; her sister Maxine "Dink" Weaver of Columbus, GA; her sister-in-law Nellie Thomas of Noxubee County; her nephews, Larry Thomas, Jack Thomas, Jr. and Thomas Weaver; and her niece Jackie Thomas Thompson.
